From Grassroots vision to Community anchor

Macedonia Family Resource Center began with a simple but strong belief: every person, regardless of background, income, or situation, deserves a chance at opportunity. We opened our doors in 2003 as a small, faith-based effort to support families in High Point’s Macedonia community. Soon, we realized that meeting basic needs was only the beginning. Real empowerment means providing education, advocacy, relationship-building, and long-term support.

Today, Macedonia Family Resource Center supports more than 3,500 families each year in High Point and Guilford County. We have grown from a single room to a full center with programs in adult education, youth development, and community wellness. Through it all, we stay true to our grassroots roots and focus on dignity and opportunity for everyone.

We are more than a nonprofit. We are neighbors, advocates, mentors, and champions for our community. And we are just getting started.

Vision

We imagine a thriving High Point where everyone, regardless of race, income, or background, can access the resources, education, and support they need for financial stability, educational success, and overall well-being.

We see a community where your zip code does not decide your future, language is not a barrier, and every child can dream big and reach their goals.
